WELCOME

New for 2011, the BG Fast Pitch Association has formed a travel team for the 12U and 14U age divisions. The travel teams are called the Lady Jr Bobcats. This structure will allow the girls to play in a more competitive atmosphere which will make them better softball players and teammates. The Lady Jr Bobcats will play between 3 to 6 tournaments throughout the NW Ohio area while competing in the gold division during the summer league. The players were placed on the teams from tryouts. The Lady Jr Bobcat board ran the tryouts along with the assistance of the BG Fast Pitch Association board. 

The goal is to create a winning atmosphere by teaching the proper way to play the game. This will eventually improve the quality of play throughout the BG Softball Programs. 

Upcoming events:

  • The travel team will participate in a cookie fundraising event in November.
